Richard Joe Pierce, 55, passed away February 22, 2013 at his home after a brief illness. He was born May 6, 1957 in Anderson IN and lived there most of his life. He was a 1975 graduate of Anderson High School, and worked at Stoops Freightliner of Anderson. Richard was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Anderson, IN. He loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Sabrina Pierce, sons Jason (Samantha) Pierce, Josh (Krystal) Pierce, daughters Ami Pierce, Tina (Jimmy Steger) Hensley, grandchildren Courtney, Christina, James, Jacob, Hayden, Skyler, Karsin, Mallory, Caide, and Abagail, great granddaughter Alaina, brothers, Chuck Pierce, Mike (Laurel McManus) Pierce, John (Chrissy) Frawley, James (Brenda) Frawley sisters Kathy (Jack) Sickish, Karen (John) Williams, Rhonda Pierce, Bobbie (Scott) Morgan, Debbie (Terry) Castor, Sharon Frawley, Sonja Norris, Lisa Terrill, and Theresa Malone, Brother in laws John (Vicki) Hagerman, Teddy (Becky) Reeves, sister in laws Belinda Trahan, Lydia (Kirby) Hollins, Pam (Jeff) Trent, Hope (Paul) Boner, Angie (Ed) Simsinson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by a special friend Bill Newby and several pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Pierce and Nancy Frawley
Services will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 2pm. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm at Glad Tidings Assembly of God 815 E. School St Anderson IN. Graveside service will follow at Maplewood Cemetery Anderson. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory
